Wise,
Pallas Athene
Grey-Eyed-Maiden,
Warrior-Queen,
armor-clad and battle-bred,
sprang full-grown from Zeus' head
as suddenly as a thought.
She is
the bold idea
brought
to life,
the goal achieved,
divinely crafted
and conceived.
Sharp her spear;
the aim precise,
arcing over paradise
far and high,
alone,
unseen,
Proud,
Wise
